The editorial score
Every scored program gets a score out of 10. It is a weighted average of five criteria, each rated from 1 to 10:
| Curriculum (25%) | Depth, structure and practical content of what you actually learn: hours, modules, practicums, exam alignment. |
|---|---|
| Credibility (25%) | Accreditation or registration with a recognized body, alignment with a licensing exam, and who issues the credential. We quote accreditation exactly as the source states it. |
| Value (20%) | Published price compared with content, support, access length and the credential you get. |
| Flexibility (15%) | Self-paced or live options, deadlines, access length, mobile access, payment plans. |
| Support (15%) | Access to instructors, feedback on your work, community, mentoring or career services. |
The overall score is rounded to one decimal. Stars are the same score shown on a 5-star scale (score ÷ 2). We only publish a score when all five criteria have been rated; otherwise the page says “Not scored yet”.
A calibrated scale. We only list programs that clear a basic bar: a real provider, a published curriculum and a working enrollment page. To keep differences readable among those programs, each criterion is placed on a calibrated scale (the same formula for every program), so listed programs usually score between 7 and 9.5. A 7 means “usable, with clear limits”; 8 means “a solid choice for the right learner”; 9 and above means “one of the strongest options in its field”. The order of every ranking comes straight from these scores.
Sources we use
We rely on public information: the program's official pages (pricing, syllabus, refund policy, FAQ), accrediting or registering bodies, and official exam or licensing authorities. Each review lists its sources and the date we last checked them.
What we don't do
- We don't publish student testimonials or star ratings we can't verify, and we never invent reviewer names or review counts. When a review summarizes what learners say, it cites the public platform (for example Trustpilot or Reddit), the rating and number of reviews shown there, and the date we read it.
- We don't publish coupon codes we haven't seen on an official page. Offers are labeled “Verified offer” with their source and check date.
- We don't promise income or career outcomes.
Independence from commissions
Some links on this site may be affiliate links. Rankings are computed from the editorial score only. The commission a program may pay is never an input, is never displayed, and does not change the order of any list. Programs without a score are listed after scored programs, in alphabetical order.
Updates and corrections
Prices and offers change often. Each page shows when its data was last checked. If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page and we will re-check the official source.
